The competitor must cling onto a vertical log 60 cm thick with their arms and legs while it slide to the next platform. It’s a test of grip, whether arms or legs or both. This element requires both upper and lower body strength.
It’s seems easy but the obstacle course presented on the American ninja show is so insanely difficult that no American has yet to complete it. The Log Grip is one of many reasons why no one can get through and then to Japan.
During this challenge, the contestant must hang off of a fake log as it swings over muddy water.
